Eureka!! Is Now Taking Registrations For The 2020 Airlie Beach Race Week. Book Your Spot Or Team Early To Secure Your Ride On This Outstanding Sydney 60!
Yacht Racing – one of the cheapest and easiest sports to get involved in. ( As crew anyway!)
We love racing and are always keen to get in among the fleets at some of the biggest events in Australia.
We attend most major regattas in Australia and offer individual crew places to those who want to get that Regatta Experience.
We go to these regattas with one aim in mind – to have as much fun as possible, both on and off the water. Crew who have joined us in recent years still talk about their experiences and in fact a lot of them come back with us each year.
Airlie Beach Race Week – August 2020
The Tropical Regatta! Airlie Beach Race Week is a favorite among sailors for it’s fantastic racing and relaxed laid back social vibe. The locals of Airlie Beach go all out to make everyone welcome.
We will once again be entering the fabulous Eureka II, a Sydney 60.
Eureka II was built to compete in the Sydney to Hobart and is a beautiful full on racing yacht that has been modified for comfort and speed. She is competitive yet comfortable and being a large race yacht there are plenty of roles on board for everyone to get involved. She has berths for 12 people. Included in the pricing is your place on the race crew, Accommodation on board plus Breakfast and Lunch and your crew shirt.
Hamilton Island Race Week – August 2016
The regatta to be seen at in 2016. It’s always a big show with all the premier yachts and crews in Australia competing alongside regular sailors.
Fantastic racing, a huge social scene and the opportunity to be part of Australias Premier Regatta – whats not to like. This year will be the fifth year in a row we have entered Eureka II and have never failed to come away without at least one trophy – will it be an overall one this year?
We have crew places for 12 people. Included in the pricing is your place on the race crew, Accommodation on board plus Breakfast and Lunch and your crew shirt.
Sydney to Hobart 2021
It’s the big one. The one we all dream of doing.
In 2014 Eureka II competed in the 70th Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race – the race she was built for and we acquitted ourselves so well we’re going again in 2016.
This is a pretty big campaign, those who sign up will be required to commit time to training and improving their sailing skills throughout the preceding year by getting as involved as they can in their local clubs as well as paying for their crew place. Then there will be two weeks of intense training just before the race as well as a crew qualifying passage. It’s a serious race and we are going prepared. If you want to be part of the team – contact us now.
Price $ 15,000.00
